Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

Xiaomi is slowly getting used to the fact that if we want to buy the best "mediums", then the models of this company will be the best solution. Mi series conquered the hearts of technology lovers and very good quality devices. The same happened with the budget smartphones Redmi, which offer a lot for a little less money. These include Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, which we decided to test.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 debuted in Poland in 2017 and immediately gained great popularity. The replacement Redmi Note 3 is distinguished by a good display, a strong battery and a relatively low price. We present the specificity of this model and opinions of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 - design

The 5.5" display and the classic design are all features you can talk about right from the first glance at this smartphone. As usual, Xiaomi decided on rounded angles and this time presented a matt case that looks very aesthetic. The whole is finished with thin, chromium-plated lines that add elegance to the smartphone. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is equipped with one rear 13 Mpx sensor with f/2.0, placed in the central part of the housing. Below it there is a lightening diode and a fingerprint reader. It is also worth mentioning that Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is available in five colors - silver, grey, gold, black and blue.

At the very beginning it is worth mentioning the excellent display with Full HD resolution, i.e. 1080×1920. The colors displayed on it are well contrasting with each other, their proper saturation is present, and nothing can be accused of viewing angles. Image quality is good both on sunny days and at night, when you can also use a blue light filter to protect your eyes from the negative effects of sharp smartphone light.

Smartphone performance

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is based on the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, but we have three memory variants to choose from: 2 GB RAM + 32 GB, 3 GB RAM + 32 GB and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB. The smartphone boasts a long battery life of up to two days. Gaming enthusiasts won't be disappointed either - the processor works well under heavy load, and all you can see is a slight warming of the case, which doesn't seem to affect the performance of your smartphone. A small minus, however, may be the charger, which does not support the quick charging function - it takes up to 2.5 hours to fill the battery.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 - Opinions

Depending on which version of this smartphone we choose, we will have to spend different amounts of money on it. The price of the Huawei Redmi Note 4 model is in the opinion of users adequate to its quality. For the basic version we will pay a little more than 700 PLN, while for a model with a memory of 4 GB RAM + 64 GB, we will have to spend from 900 to 1000 PLN. The smartphone is praised for its high performance battery and fast processor operation. Unfortunately, according to the owners of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the manufacturer could have equipped the smartphone with a much better camera.
