Laptop - we choose a reasonable proposal

Buying a laptop at a price just over 1000 PLN is a big challenge. One wrong decision, saving several dozen zlotys, is enough to misallocate funds. So what should you pay attention to when choosing a budget device in order to buy profitable equipment despite the savings?

Remember that at a price of about 1100 PLN we will not find any performance monsters, business devices or gaming equipment. This segment is occupied by the simplest structures, which were created with attention to economy, and not every detail of the structure. Remember, however, that savings are not always profitable, and the chase for the zloty can be paid (literally and metaphorically) for a very bad investment.

For example, saving 30-40 PLN we can buy a laptop with 2 instead of 4 GB of RAM. Nowadays, it is a huge difference, because already 4 GB is an absolute minimum for efficient work, while 2 GB will not allow for comfortable browsing of many cards in the browser, not to mention comfortable work. What's more, some budget constructions do not have the possibility to expand RAM memory, so the mentioned savings may be related to a free laptop.

One of the sensible proposals may be Lenovo G51. This is one of the basic models of the brand equipped with a processor AMD E1-7010 with a clock up to 1.5 GHz. It is not a fast unit, but it will work well in basic tasks. It is supported by 4 GB of RAM, which is also an advantage because we do not have to invest in new dice and extensions right away. Of course, it is possible because the device has 1 free memory slot.

The remaining parameters are the minimum that is currently noteworthy: a 500GB drive, a 15.6-inch glossy LED matrix with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a simple AMD Radeon R2 graphics card. Of course we have a Bluetooth module and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. A nice addition is the presence of as many as two USB 3.1 ports, which in this price range is a big surprise. The whole is enclosed in a simple, but quite tasteful black housing with elements imitating aluminum.

Lenovo Ideapad 110, a model from the same manufacturer, can be a candidate for a similar price. In this case, Intel components were used. It is among others Intel Celeron N3060 processor with 2.48 GHz core clock supported by 4 GB of DDR3 RAM. Unfortunately, in this case the manufacturer does not give us the possibility to expand the memory. The basic integrated Intel HD Graphics 400 graphics card is responsible for generating the image. The 15.6-inch LED screen has a glossy finish and a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

The user can use a 500 GB HDD, two USB ports (including one in the 3.0 standard), one HDMI port, a memory card reader and a headphone output. Everything is packed in a tasteful, but very traditional casing.
