Industrial chains - driving your business
Chains are rods made up of a certain number of links of the same shape and size, connected in a string. This is an extremely important element of the power transmission in machines. At present, the market offer is very diverse, as chain links are used in almost every industry.
The growing demand for drive accessories means that an increasingly high-quality range of products is emerging in the market for drive accessories. Given the huge competition, it is worth betting on proven manufacturers, whose products have gained recognition from the world's largest concerns. One of the leading suppliers of industrial chains for the Polish and world market is Janus.
Janus - a company with tradition
Janus has been manufacturing industrial tendons for almost 40 years, supporting the world's largest corporations. So far, the manufacturer has completed approximately 100,000 orders. Modern technical equipment combined with a system supporting ERP management processes allow us to provide high quality services on time. The object of the company's activity are the following drive rods, offered under the brand name of Solid or Janus.
Solid roller chains
Depending on the design, the roller tracks can be divided into three, two or one row, and according to their dimensions into type A or type B. The use of pivot-mounted rollers has a positive effect on the durability and strength of the chain and significantly reduces the wear of the teeth cooperating with the gear pulley. Made of appropriately selected steel alloys, Solid chains, before leaving the machine park, go through automated control tests, ensuring failure-free operation of equipment in the field of power transmission.
Pin chains
Nowadays it is less and less frequently used, but still produced to special order of customers. A pin tendon is a chain of cells made up of external plates, loosely seated on the pin pivots or pressed into place. These chains have a small working area and a limited speed of 0.5 metres per second.
Janus sleeve chain
In this case, hardened, rotating bushings are inserted into the moving pins in the centre, and the outer plates are inserted into the pins by means of a press fit. This type of chain reaches a speed of 15 m/s, operating under extreme conditions and carrying heavy loads. It is used in the woodworking and metallurgical industries, as well as wherever the load-bearing mechanism is exposed to large contaminants such as gravel, sand or steel chips.
Plate chains
Plate chains are divided into three types according to their width. These are LH, LL and AL. The choice of one of the variants depends on the size of the load with which the tendons will have to face. Plate fasteners are used in heavy industry and shipbuilding. They are also used in carriers of forklift trucks.
Solid chains are widely used in the automotive, engineering, cement and agricultural industries. Each cable is tested at all stages of the manufacturing process by the Quality Control Department. At the very end of the production process, the chains are still tested for breakage. These activities make Janus tendons highly efficient and durable.
